Why choose the China Travel Company?

Why do I need to send my passport to the China Travel Company?
For travel to mainland China it is essential that you have a valid visa. We are able to make your visa application for you but the embassy will need your passport to issue the visa.
We recommend that you submit your passport
(together with one passport photo, completed visa application form and a
copy of proof of medical insurance) at least three weeks before departure.
(The embassy is unable to process visa applications more than three months
in advance).
What are the hotels like?
The Chinese are a hospitable nation and pride themselves on excellent customer service.
Tourism is a growth market in China and they are keen to maintain a high standard. Three star hotels are efficient and usually centrally located, offering great value for money. The four star accommodation matches its western equivalents, with all the facilities you would expect at home, whilst the five star hotels offer luxury rooms and amenities and are equal to any international top quality hotel.
Is my holiday secure?
The China Travel Company is a member of the Travel Trust Association
(TTA). All our clients are protected by the TTA Protection Plan, which
covers every service you book with us, whether it be for transport,
accommodation, entertainment or recreation. All monies paid to CTC are
placed in a trust account and no money can be removed from the account
(except for insurance and flight premiums) until you return. All CTC clients
are covered by the "Safe Seat Plan" and the TTA is able to offer all clients
a 100% rapid refund, immediate repatriation or continuation of their tour
should any of its members cease trading. All monies paid to CTC for flights
are immediately protected by the ATOL holders bond. So you can rest assured
that your money and travel arrangements are in safe hands.
